Final Report of the InfoLogService project available now in English and in Russian
InfoLogService project - Analysis of Electronic Logistic Services in Russia has been finalished and the final report is available now in English and in Russian.
The main aim of the project was the definition of the legal status of electronic logistic services as a stage in international cargo transportation and as a type of information service provided to transportation participants, including government control entities at border crossing points, transit, trans-shipment and destination sites.
Another important goal was the development of regulatory documents harmonised with international agreements and the national legislations of the EU countries and Russia in the field of international transportation and electronic document circulation that would simplify the documentation procedures for cargoes and vehicles through the interaction between government control entities and other participants in the transportation process.
The Kaliningrad Region was selected as a pilot site for an analysis of electronic logistic services (ELS) that would involve the transit of internal Russian cargoes transported by road and rail.
The project was included within the framework of the PAP Programme (EU TACIS Policy Advice Programme.
